Analog Devices ADPD144RI PPG Optical Sensor Module is optimised for PPG detection of blood oxygenation (SpO2). This is accomplished by synchronous detection in red and infrared wavelengths. Synchronous measurement enables the rejection of both DC and AC ambient light interference with remarkably low power consumption.

The device features a 2.8mm x 5mm module with integrated optical components; 660nm LED, 880nm IR LED, and photodiode. The device has fully integrated AFE, ADC, LED drivers, and timing core. Also available is a custom optical package for use under a glass window. The device is specifically designed for ultralow direct optical reflections, with independent AFE settings per channel and I2C data and control interface. A burst accumulator enables 20 bits per sample period, and sample to sample accumulator enables up to 27 bits per data read.

Typical applications optical heart rate monitoring and reflective SpO2 measurement.
