UHF RFID modules ideal for challenging applications

SkyeTek Mercury6e UHF RAIN RFID Modules include M6e, Micro and Micro LTE, and Nano multi-protocol embedded modules. These modules are available now from Mouser. The M6e four-port module meets or exceeds the performance demands of fixed position multi-antenna reader applications. This module provides a high read rate and RF power, coupled with form factor and time-to-market advantages. The module can be used in challenging applications like race timing, portals with long cable runs and conveyors needing multiple antennas.

ThingMagic Micro and Micro-LTE two-port modules provide the form factor, RF power, efficiency, and flexibility required to embed UHF RFID in portable and handheld applications. These modules offer low power consumption and are ideal for battery operated applications. ThingMagic Micro can read up to 750 tags per second while Micro-LTE reads 50 tags/second. Wide RF output level range from -5dBm to 30dBm enables the modules to be employed in short-range printers or long-range readers.

ThingMagic Nano (UHF) RAIN RFID module provides the smallest form factor for a Mercury series module with extremely low power consumption. This module is excellent for battery operated, low-cost, small form factor portable readers. The Nano RFID module offers a wide RF output range, which is essential for read/write demands for RFID-enabled printers and tag commissioning stations.
