Mouser is now offering the EYSKBNZWB Bluetooth Low Energy module from TAIYO YUDEN. This ultra-compact module created to assist developers to easily implement Bluetooth 5 technology into designs. A member of the company's Bluetooth Low Energy module family, the device boasts a small 10mm x 15.4mm x 2mm footprint for space-constrained applications and pairs favourably with other sensors that need minimal space and power. The module is powered by a Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 SoC, which comprises a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M4F processor with 1MByte of flash memory and 256kBytes of RAM. The SoC also incorporates a 12-bit ADC and support for SPI, UART, and PWM interfaces. The device combines a high-performance PCB antenna, 32MHz system clock, and support for NFC-A Type-2 for touch-to-pair applications. The module provides a typical output power of +8dBm and operates in the low-power 2.4GHz ISM band. The RoHS-compliant module is Bluetooth, FCC, IC and Japan qualified and is excellent for low-power wireless applications, such as advanced wearables, connected health devices, VR and AR, IoT sensors and controllers, and wireless payment systems.
