Analog Devices AD411x low power 24-bit ADCs are low power, low noise, sigma-delta converters. These ADCs integrate an AFE for fully differential or single-ended inputs. The ADCs provide = 1MOhm bipolar high impedance, ±10V voltage inputs, and 0-20mA current inputs. These ADCs also combine key analog and digital signal conditioning blocks to configure eight different setups for each analog input channel in use. The ADCs highlight a maximum channel scan rate of 6.2kS/s (161µs) for fully settled data. The precision performance of the ADCs is realised by integrating the proprietary iPassives technology from the company. The ADC series has the unique feature of open wire detection on the voltage inputs for system level diagnostics utilising a single 5V or 3.3V power supply. The ADCs operating temperature limit is from -40C to 105C. These ADCs are housed in a 40-lead, 6mm x 6mm LFCSP package. Typical applications are in Programmable Automation Controller and Distributed Control System modules.
