Credit card-sized graphics controller module supports 5" displays with resistive touch control

Available now from RS Components are credit card-sized graphics controller module with BT816 device by Bridgetek. The device supports 5" displays with resistive touch control (not included). The kit includes a 16Mbyte flash for bitmaps and other design asset storage, backlight control and a connector for an audio speaker. The device interfaces directly with any host with a USB host port. These devices form the third evolution of the EVE graphic controller series. As well as providing graphic control for display resolutions up to 800 x 600 pixels with true 24-bit colour depth and integrated touch (BT815 is capacitive and BT816 resistive) there are a variety of improvements from the first two generations.
