Powersolve – New programmable power supplies are versatile, efficient and scalable

Powersolve has a new 3000W programmable power supply series that can be 2U or 3U rack-mounted or wall-mounted to offer a versatile solution where high precision and efficiency are essential requirements. Series and parallel operation up to 100kW is attainable. All units in the CPS-i3000 series offer quick and simple programming, low noise and ripple as well as a very precise setting for high load changes. With an efficiency of up to 94% and a power factor 0.99, the units are extremely energy efficient. Power density is 12W/in³. The six models in the series provide voltages between 0VDC to 18VDC and 0VDC to 300VDC and currents between 0A to 185A and 0A to12.5A Models are protected against high transients by strong filters with high energy efficiency. All inputs and outputs, as well as the interface, are electrically isolated. The units include forced air cooling with monitored and load-dependent variable fan control. These devices are intended to meet the requirements of IEC/CSA/UL60950-1 and EMC standards EN55022 conducted Class B and radiated Class A.
