Mouser is celebrating a summer of football with a contest that enables designers to share their passion not only for ‘the beautiful game’ but also for innovative electronics design. In anticipation of the summer’s football competition, the company's team in Munich has built scoreboards to keep up with all the matches and scores. Now, the company has announced the Build a Scoreboard Contest and is inviting designers to test their electronics mettle by creating a working electronic scoreboard. To be eligible, participants must follow Mouser on Twitter and tweet a short 60 to 90-second video of their working scoreboard. The tweet should tag the company's Twitter handle (@MouserElecEU), the hashtag #BuildAScoreboard and a short description of the scoreboard build. Designers can tweet their entries up to 30 June 2018, and the contest is open to EU residents only. Designers of the scoreboards that show the correct teams and score in the final match will have a chance to win a FlashForge Finder 3D printer; a Mouser ice bucket to keep drinks cold at the next barbecue;. and all winners will receive a prize pack containing a Mouser T-shirt.
