SparkFun LilyPad, available from Mouser, is a wearable e-textile technology that has been creatively designed and can be sewn into fabric. Various input, output, power and sensor boards are available. LilyPad is also washable with special care. The SparkFun LilyPad Arduino USB ATmega32U4 Board is an updated simple board that replaces the classic ATMega328 with the new ATMega32U4. The board runs a variation of the latest and greatest bootloader. A micro-USB cable is needed to program the LilyPad USB, since the new IC has built-in USB support. The USB is also officially supported in the Arduino IDE as of version 1.0.2. This board operates at 3.3V and features a JST socket to directly connect a LiPo battery for power. An on-board power switch allows you to turn it off. These boards were designed to streamline sewable projects by keeping things simple. You get more room to work while eliminating the need to sew a power supply. The LiPo battery is even rechargeable through the board, no more special external LiPo chargers required.
