Digi XBee Gateway, available for Mouser, provides a programmable solution to connect XBee devices to IP networks with cloud management services. This Gateway enables custom applications to run locally to cloud-based software applications with a simple open-source python development environment.
The gateway enables custom applications while interfacing across existing Ethernet/Wi-Fi/cellular networks for WAN connectivity. XBee data sent to the gateway is automatically available for online applications via Device Cloud. Device Cloud allows users to remotely manage thousand of deployed devices, remote firmware upgrades, and event alarms. This Gateway can be tested and developed using the XBee ZigBee cloud kit.
