New 3W SIP4 industrial isolated DC-DC converters double power density

Now available from Dengrove Electronic Components, RECOM's RI3 series isolated DC-DC converters offer 3W output from the same compact SIP4 outline as the 2W RI2 series - boosting power density by 50%. The 11.5mm x 7.55mm x 10.2mm modules deliver market-leading power density for demanding applications such as communication equipment, industrial automation, robotic systems and distributed power architectures. Achieving up to 90% efficiency, they will deliver full power from -40C to 85C without a heatsink, and can operate in ambient temperatures of up to 100C with derating. The choice of 1kVDC, 2kVDC or 3kVDC input-output isolation allows use where enhanced safety is required. Like the RI2 series, all combinations of 5V, 12V, 15V or 24V input and 5V, 12V or 15V output voltages are available. The first samples now in stock give designers a choice of 5V/5V, 5V/12V, 12V/5V, 24V/5V and 24V/12V configurations. The RI3 series is EN-60950-1 certified.
