Available from Mouser, the MPS MP2420 step-down switching converters feature integrated high and low-side, high-voltage power MOSFETs. To accommodate a variety of step-down applications in an automotive environment the 0.3A synchronous step-down converters have a wide 4.5V to 75V input range. A 5µA shutdown mode quiescent current in a full temperature range is ideal for battery-powered applications. The device also has an integrated watchdog for additional security redundancy to the system.
Typical applications include automotive systems, industrial power systems, distributed power systems and battery-powered systems.
