Stocked by Mouser, the Digi International XBee SX modules are 1-watt 900MHz RF devices that combine reliability and redundancy for low-power, mission-critical wireless applications. The modules utilize the DigiMesh networking protocol and feature redundant mesh network operation and support for low-power sleeping nodes. They have a RF line-of-sight range up to 65 miles with strong interference blocking and combine range, data redundancy and data reliability.
?They can be configured with free XCTU software or by AT or API command sets. The modules are pre-certified for use in multiple countries and include integrated antennas for fast OEM design development and time to market. With 256-bit AES encryption, the modules are secure and provide reliable critical data delivery between devices. The small XBee surface-mount footprint saves valuable board space.
