Microchip Technology SCH332x LPC IOs, available from Mouser, are a product family that have 3.3V operation with an LPC interface that supports 19-33MHz. These IOs include hardware monitoring capabilities, enhanced security features, power control logic and motherboard Glue logic. They are ACPI 1.0/2.0 compatible and support multiple low power-down modes. The IOs incorporate sophisticated power control circuitry (PCC) with support for keyboards.
Suitable applications include automated meter reading, home and building automation, wireless alarm and security systems, industrial monitoring and control, machine to machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT).
