Rugged watertight panel LED performs in extreme environments

Cyntech Components now offers a Faston-blade / solder-lug version of the popular ruggedized CRM/BRM series panel LED. The novel rear-mount design fits D-shaped and 8mm round holes and features fast pitch threads with special nuts for quick installation in extreme and outdoor applications. The LED indicators offer a watertight construction that can meet IP67 sealing requirements and are internally potted for vibration resistance. This makes them ideal for applications in demanding or harsh environments, such as industrial control panels, transportation dashboards, gaming / vending machines and aircraft / defence instrumentation. Available in chrome (CRM series) or black matte (BRM series) finishes, the range now includes 2.8mm x 0.5mm Faston connections, as well as LED pins and leaded terminations. All versions are available with daylight-readable red, yellow, green and orange LEDs as well as bicolor, blue, white, flashing, infrared and NVIS LEDs. Optional internal resistors provide for 5-60VDC and 5-240VAC operation. Note - Leaded and pin-terminated versions of the CRM/BRM series meet IP67 sealing requirements while versions terminated with Faston blades meet IP66.
