Ultra low-voltage switches and multiplexers interface with next-generation CPUs

07-03-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Design & Manufacture

Available now from Mouser, NXP's PCA984x ultra low-voltage switches and multiplexers with Reset feature low operation down to 0.8V to interface with next-generation CPUs. The devices have 1-of-4 or 1-of-8 bidirectional translating and an active LOW reset input. Select any or all SCx/SDx channels, determined by the programmable control register. This feature allows multiple devices with the same I2C-bus address to reside on the same bus. The switch or multiplexer device eliminates the need for a bus buffer by separating a heavily loaded I2C-bus into separate bus segments.
