Optocouplers provide high level of noise isolation

Vishay VOW family optocouplers are now stocked by Mouser. The devices
consist of a GaIAIs infrared emitting diode, optically coupled with an
integrated photo detector. An integral Faraday shield provides a high level
of noise isolation, required by high power switching applications.
