Designed to deliver accurate measurements and logging capabilities to electrical engineers troubleshooting electronic circuits, Farnell element14 now stocks Keysight Technologies U1280 Series handheld digital multimeters. With 60,000-count dual display resolution and 0.025 percent basic DCV accuracy, the U1280 series handheld DMMs provide precise measurements to users. The U1280 series is certified to IP67 and armed with robust over-mould enclosures that allow users to carry out tests and measurements in any condition, including water immersion, and withstand a 10-feet drop. With enhanced battery life for maximum productivity, the handheld DMMs supply users with up to 800 hours of testing without the hassle of battery charge. Equipped with a 'Vsense' feature, the U1280 series provides non-contact voltage protection in dangerous electrical environments by producing audible and blinking LED light alerts when users are in the presence of AC voltage and live wires. The devices also feature square wave output, a frequency counter and a low pass filter to reduce background noise while measuring AC voltage. The U1280 Series’ 'Hold & Export' button gives users the option to measure, store or export measurement information with one click. If exported, the measurement is sent to the Keysight Meter Logger software for prolonged measurement observation, says the company.
