Ultra-fast diodes benefit from platinum doping technology

Now available from RS Components, Vishay's FRED Pt (fast-recovery epitaxial diode) range of products offers ultra-fast diodes designed with platinum (Pt) doping technology. This series offers extreme low leakage current at high temperatures along with a high maximum junction temperature of 175C and is ideal for improving efficiency in areas such as switched mode power supplies, says the company.
