Powersolve's new PMP05, PMP10, PMP15 and PMP20 Series single-output power supplies are designed to provide up to 20W for medical equipment applications. Each PMP Series comprises four models all featuring Class II isolation, an open-frame format and, importantly for medical applications, cooling by free air convection. Every model is burn-in tested at full load. From a universal 85-264VAC input, DC output voltages for each series are 5, 12, 15 or 24V across the operating temperature range of -20C to +70C. The power supplies have a no-load power consumption of less than 0.5W which is designed to satisfy the indutry's increasing need for 'green' applications. All models are approved to EN61000-4-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, EN60601-1-2: 2001+1: 2006 Life Supporting Equipment which makes them suitable for use in any medical systems application. They also feature immunity to EN61000-3-2: 2006 Class A, EN61000-3-3 : 1995+A1 : 2005 and meet EN55011: 2007+A2 : 2007 Class B. The power supplies incorporate over-voltage, over-load and short-circuit protection and are PCB mounted, apart from the chassis-mounted PMP20, says the company.
