Pasternack has expanded their portfolio of general-purpose vector network analyzers (VNA) calibration kits with new 50ohm and 75ohm versions. The new RF calibration kits offer exceptional performance characteristics that are specially designed for the fine-tuning and calibration of sensitive test equipment in engineering labs, production environments and quality testing facilities. They are built to withstand years of rigorous use and provide accurate RF equipment calibration for the life of the product. The kits come in three economical versions including a 50ohm 3.5mm calibration kit up to 26.5GHz, a 3.5mm kit up to 8.5GHz , and a 75ohm Type-F calibration kit operating to 3GHz. The kits complement the company's existing models which include a 3.5mm kit operating to 26.5GHz (PE5500-KIT) and a Type-N kit operating to 18GHz (PE5501-KIT). Each kit includes all of the necessary short circuits, open circuits, loads and thru (SOLT) components required for testing. The kits are suitable for many 50ohm and 75om network analyzers from the industry's leading providers such as Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu and Copper Mountain. The RF test and measurement kits all come packaged inside protective wooden boxes, says the company. "A properly calibrated VNA allows for precise characterization of RF and microwave components and our new calibration kits provide the precision components needed to perform accurate user calibrations," said Steve Ellis, interconnect product manager, Pasternack.
