High-power 5W precision SMD current sensing resistor can carry 100A

The CSS4527 from Stackpole is a new 5W surface-mount current-sense resistor capable of handling up to 100A of continuous current. The device offers tolerances down to 0.5% and TCR of 50ppm making it ideal for precision power sensing and control. Further, the CSS series can operate at full rated power up to 100C and can operate safely up to 225C. The CSS4527 is also AEC-Q200 qualified making it useful for a wide variety of even the most demanding applications including high power monitoring and control, motor controls, portable electric power tools, test equipment, medical monitoring and diagnostic equipment, network communications equipment, and instrumentation.
