Simple solution to linear driving of LED chains with two pin packages

Mouser now stocks Diode Inc's AL5809 constant current LED drivers. They deliver a simple solution to linear driving of LED chains with two pin packages. The device features high temperature stability and current accuracy regulated over a wide voltage and temperature range. The AL5809 driver can swing 2.5V to 60V to enable it to drive a variety of lengths of LED chain. The AL5809 series comes in various fixed output current versions which remove the need for an external current setting resistor. The device supports both high-side and low-side driving of LED chains and suits applications such as off-line LED lamps, LED power supplies, white goods, LED signage and instrumentation illumination.
