New interconnect products offer alternatives in industrial, medical and consumer applications

RS Components has substantially increased its RS Pro range of professional, affordable components with additions to its connector offering. Thes products are designed to be serious alternatives to more expensive off-the-shelf devices. The new RS Pro connection devices are ideal for a variety of uses in industrial, instrumentation, general electronics, consumer and medical applications, as well as for use in harsh environments. The new products include IP68 waterproof connectors featuring sturdy plastic shells, and with cable and panel mount options that are available in 13mm, 17mm and 21mm panel cut out types. Also introduced are washdown M8 and M12 connectors that are sealed to IP69K and are ideal for use in the food and beverage industry. These connectors are supplied in a plastic housing with stainless steel coupling nuts, and offer resistance to chemicals and oil.
