Universal enclosure feet kits now in four standard colours

METCASE's TECHNOFEET kits for electronic enclosures are now offered in traffic grey A (RAL 7042) as standard, complementing the existing light grey (RAL 7035), anthracite (RAL 7016), and black (RAL 9005) options.

These stylish universal case feet are conceived to fit all types of metal and plastic enclosures from the company and other manufacturers, as well as existing OEM equipment housings that need tough, modern anti-skid feet.

Two separate kits are available, allowing them to be specified with or without tilt legs for canting the enclosure to a more comfortable viewing angle.

Each round ø30mm x 12mm foot comprises an ABS (UL 94 HB) body, an anti-skid TPE pad and a self-tapping screw. Each kit includes four foot mouldings, four pads and four screws. The tilt leg kit also consists of the two hinged legs, which have a 120° rotation. When folded flat, they extend 38.6mm beyond the circular foot.

Based on the standard screws provided, the maximum enclosure wall thickness is 3mm, but alternative longer screws can be supplied on request. The tilt legs are rated to 200N (F Max). The topple load is 3.69kg.

Fitting each foot requires drilling three holes in the enclosure panel. A drilling template is included in the downloadable PDF drawings from the company's website.
