Pickering Electronics will be showcasing its comprehensive range of relays for semiconductor test, including its new Series 600 customisable high voltage reed relays offering up to 20kV stand-off across the switch contacts and up to 25kV stand-off switch to coil, at Semicon Taiwan 2025.
The series range represents a major innovation in high-voltage reed relay design. These devices have been specially designed to be adaptable, satisfying customer needs with options for stand-off voltages of up to 20kV across the switch and 25kV from switch to coil, configurable pin-outs and connection options, coil resistances, package formats, potting materials, and more. This flexibility enables semiconductor test engineers and system designers to precisely specify the relay performance they require, balancing size, isolation, and switching speed to meet the unique needs of their applications.
Ideal applications include:
“Semicon Taiwan is one of the most important shows on the global semiconductor calendar, and we’re excited to present our Series 600 customisable high voltage relays here for the first time,” said Robert King, product manager at Pickering Electronics. “By combining industry-first 20kV stand-off across the switch contacts with up to 25kV switch-to-coil isolation, plus a fully customisable design, we’re giving test engineers the ability to push performance boundaries while keeping systems compact, reliable, and efficient.”
Alongside the Series 600, the company will also display its full portfolio of high-performance reed relays, including:
Pickering Interfaces, the switching division of the Pickering Group, will also be present at the booth, showcasing its modular signal switching solutions for semiconductor test and verification systems. Together, the companies provide a uniquely broad portfolio of switching and relay technology to support semiconductor, EV, and high-voltage test engineers worldwide.
