Improved voltage ratings for high temperature high stability chip resistors

14-08-2025 | Stackpole | Passives

Stackpole Electronics has improved the voltage ratings of its RNCE series of thin film resistors. The series is known for its robustness, able to withstand higher temperatures, high moisture, and sulphur environments, while maintaining excellent stability over its functional lifetime.

The new voltage ratings are as follows:

  • RNCE0402: 75V working voltage
  • RNCE0603: 100V working voltage
  • RNCE0805: 150V working voltage
  • RNCE1206: 200V working voltage

Thin film chip resistors are vital in instrumentation and measurement electronics due to their performance and cost-effectiveness. However, many thin film resistors fail to maintain stability under harsh conditions and over extended periods. The company's RNCE series, with proprietary improvements in materials, design, and manufacturing processes, delivers excellent stability, reliability, and robustness while maintaining high voltage and power ratings.
