Mouser now offers the newest Wi-Fi 7 FEM from Qorvo, created for customer premises equipment, smart home devices, portable consumer electronics and wearables.

Wi-Fi 7 is the newest Wi-Fi standard, also known as IEEE 802.11be Extremely High Throughput (EHT). It works across three bands (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz) to fully use spectrum resources. It offers faster data speeds, lower latencies, and increased network capacity thanks to new capabilities designed to provide excellent performance and support large numbers of users and devices in bandwidth-intensive environments.

The Qorvo QM45655 integrates a multi-transmit-state 5GHz to 7GHz frequency power amplifier. The QM42655 integrates a multi-transmit-state 2.4GHz Wi-Fi power amplifier also used for high-performance Bluetooth (HP BT). These devices are optimised for a wide 3V to 5V operating range, making them excellent for mobile applications such as smartphones, tablets, and wearables such as VR/AR goggles.

The QPF4509 and QPF4609 are Wi-Fi 7 FEMs ideal for wireless access points, wireless routers, set-top boxes and customer premise equipment. The QPF4509 offers a 5.17GHz to 5.895GHz frequency range, while the 4609 provides a 5.925GHz to 7.125GHz range. These devices include integrated power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers and switches optimised for operation at 5V. This design conserves power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading-edge throughput.

Qorvo's QM45655EVB01, QM42655EVB, QPF4509EVB, and QPF4609EVB evaluation boards, also available from Mouser, supply a demonstration and development platform for these Wi-Fi 7 modules. Each board features a pre-mounted target device and the necessary support circuitry. These evaluation boards provide an example application circuit, enabling rapid prototyping when included in existing designs.
