Inelco Hunter has announced the availability of the Amphenol RF AX Series Colour Coded Sleeve System for the industry-standard XLR plug and socket connectors.

Amphenol developed the XLR audio connector design in 1995, and it is now the globally accepted standard in the audio industry. Available in ten colours, the sleeves can be provided in

This XLR series of plug and socket connectors includes an ergonomic sleeve designed for excellent grip. The connectors feature chuck-type cable clamping to suit 3mm to 8mm cable outside diameters.

The XLR plugs and sockets provide gold-plated contacts and are available in three to seven-pin configurations. The Mini XLR connectors also feature gold-plated contacts and are available in three to six-pin configurations.

The XLR 1/4" Combo connectors have a low profile or a C-type profile. The 1/4" chassis features vertical/horizontal gold or silver contacts. The chassis provides 360° grounding with a four-point rivet fixing and is supplied in a nickel or black zinc housing. They are available in 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A options.
