High-performance capacitors for the automotive sector

24-05-2024 | Rutronik | Passives

With the new, extremely powerful YT series from SAMWHA Electric, Rutronik is supplying high-quality polymer hybrid aluminium electrolytic capacitors. The special combination of conductive polymer and liquid electrolyte combines the advantages of capacitor types in a hybrid approach. This and their good ripple current properties make them an outstanding alternative to ceramic, electrolytic and tantalum capacitors. With a voltage range of 25V to 63V and a capacitance of up to 270μF, they are an excellent solution for countless applications, especially in the automotive sector. The capacitor series and other components from the company are available Rutronik.

AEC-Q200 qualified, the capacitors operate reliably for up to 1,000 hours in a wide temperature range from -55C to +150C. In addition to the SMD version, the company also offers the YF series, a radial-leaded version with the same electrical specifications.

Typical application examples include automotive, window regulators, displays, and engine or transmission control units.
