Primary battery for portable and small electronic devices in customisable blister packs

The CR2032 Li-MnO2 cells from EEMB are provided in blister packs of five, which, depending on the project volume, can be customised according to customer specifications. Blister packs have the advantages of straightforward handling and the protective function of the batteries inside. Moisture, dust, or mechanical stresses cannot harm the button cell. Combined with individualised packaging, they can be added to an application as an additional battery or as a backup for customer service. The non-rechargeable primary battery is ideal for memory and RTC backup.

Due to their technology, these button cells impress with their low weight of around 3g and reliable performance in a wide ambient temperature range of -20C to +70C. This distinguishes them from other primary battery technologies and makes them excellent for portable devices and small electronic appliances.

Also, they have a self-discharge rate of only ≤3%, which means that Li-MnO2 batteries can retain a notable proportion of their stored energy for years – even if they are not used.

Typical applications include PC boards, clocks, communication tags, keyless access systems, electronic meters (water, gas, electricity), remote controls, and FA instruments (measuring instruments, onboard microcomputers, sensors).
