Mouser now stocks the QM45639 5GHz to 7GHz Wi-Fi 7 FEM from Qorvo. Wi-Fi 7 provides a wider channel and capacity gains than the 6GHz spectrum, resulting in huge throughput gains. Wi-Fi 7 can deliver peak rates of over 40Gbps, a 4× increase over Wi-Fi 6E. The FEM provides lightning-fast wireless connectivity for PCs in gaming and work environments and outstanding performance for customer premises equipment, smart home devices, portable consumer electronics and wearables.

Optimised for 802.11be systems, the FEM supports the next generation of data-centric IoT applications. The module supplies outstanding performance by optimising the power amplifier for a wide range of supply voltages for mobile applications, from 3V to 5V. The high-performance module offers a 29dB Tx gain and 2.3dB noise figure, as well as a 14dB Rx gain (high gain), 12dB Rx gain (low current), and 3dB bypass loss. The device’s integrated power coupler and multiple Wi-Fi transmit states provide flexible, highly efficient operations for all applications.

As a Wi-Fi 7 device, the module supplies compatibility with Matter, a new connectivity standard for IoT devices.

The QM45639EVB evaluation board supports the module also available at Mouser. The board provides a pre-mounted QM45639 in a compact 2mm x 2mm laminate package. The evaluation board supplies an example application circuit, enabling rapid prototyping when integrated into existing designs.
