Semi-shielded power inductor line expanded with five new series

30-08-2023 | Bourns | Passives

Bourns, Inc. has expanded its semi-shielded power inductor product line with five new automotive grade, AEC-Q200 compliant model series. The Bourns Model SRN2010BTA, SRN2510BTA, SRN3010BTA, SRN3012BTA and SRN3015BTA Series provide improved reliability due to their bottom-soldered lead wire construction that delivers increased mechanical strength and stability.

These benefits and the inductors' multiple available footprints make them excellent differential choke power conversion solutions for automotive systems, DC-DC converters and power supplies in consumer, industrial and telecom electronics where high reliability is often required. Known as a leader in magnetic component design, the company's latest power inductor models' semi-shielded design incorporates the feature benefits of non-shielded and shielded inductors. This structure supplies lower magnetic field radiation than non-shielded inductors and is a more cost-effective alternative to completely shielded ferrite-based inductors.

These semi-shielded power inductor series are available now, are RoHS-compliant, and halogen-free.
