Apacer Technology Inc SV250-CFast 2.0 Flash Memory Cards, available now from Mouser, utilise 3D NAND for a higher capacity of up to 960GB and deliver more power efficiency than 2D NAND. These cards include a SATA 6Gb/s interface for exceptional performance with data transfer rates up to 560MB/s in sequential read and 68,000IOPS in 4KB random read. The flash memory cards consist of a SATA-based 7-pin signal segment and 17-pin for power and control purposes. These memory cards implement intelligent Flash Management algorithms and LDPC ECC engine to extend SSD endurance and improve data reliability.

The flash memory cards are provided with a built-in thermal sensor to monitor the temperature of the SSD through SMART to prevent overheating. These memory cards adopt the page mapping file translation layer and have various implementations. The implementations include power-saving modes, wear levelling, flash block management, SMART, TRIM, Hyper Cache technology, overprovisioning, DataDefender, DataRAID, and SMART Read Refresh.
