Current sensing resistors available in values down to 2mOhm

17-01-2023 | Stackpole | Passives

Stackpole Electronics supplies its CSRF Series to provide engineers with an option that satisfy the design demands without adding excessive cost to the design.

Applications for current sensing resistors frequently need low resistance values for better sensing efficiency. In the past, engineers were forced to create an all-metal shunt resistor that was overkill in terms of electrical performance and cost.

The company's CSRF2010 now provides 1W power ratings and resistance values down to 2mOhm in 200ppm TCR or better. The AEC-compliant CSRF has excellent long-term reliability and shows improved environmental and electrical performance compared to thick film sensing options.

The CSRF is ideal for portable handheld electronics, motor control, battery management, audio equipment, industrial and automotive controls, and instrumentation applications.
