Automotive µLDO regulators include voltage and error amplifier

06-12-2022 | Mouser Electronics | Power

Diodes Incorporated AP7387Q automotive µLDO regulators, available now from Mouser, offer a 5V to 60V wide input voltage range, a low quiescent current, and a high PSRR. The devices provide a 150mA output current and delivers a high-speed line/load transient response against the rapid input voltage and load current changes.

The regulators include a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a resistor network for setting output voltage, a current limit circuit for current protection, short-circuit, and thermal shutdown protection.

The device provides 3V, 3.3V, 3.6V, and 5V fixed output voltage versions and is accommodated in the SOT89 and U-DFN2020-6 (SWP) (Type UXC) packages.

Typical applications include powering MCUs and CAN/LIN transceivers; automotive head units; EV and HEV battery management systems; body control modules; and transmission control units.
