Polymer hybrid capacitors offer higher capacitance

SAMWHA Electronic's YM and YL series, available now from Rutronik, include two new conductive polymer hybrid aluminium electrolytic capacitors, increasing the portfolio. The products provide higher capacitance at operating temperatures of up to +125C, making them ideal for many industrial applications.

With the new YM version added to the surface mountable YH series and the radial YL series, it is satisfying the growing demand for higher value ranges of ripple current and capacitance. The capacitors offer a voltage range of 25V to 63V and a capacitance of 47μF to 680μF. The tolerance is ±20% at 120HZ (20C).

Furthermore, the service life of the component is 4,000 hours and can be employed without problems across a wide temperature range from -55C to +125C.
