Mouser now stocks the SYNIOS P3030 KW DSLP31.CE LED from ams OSRAM. Part of its SYNIOS P family of products, the LED provides an outstanding solution that fulfils the energy efficiency, weight, and space-saving qualities for the rapidly emerging field of automotive exterior lighting.

The device is a white LED with a luminous flux/radiant flux of 45lm to 71lm and a minimum CRI of 90. Forward current is rated at 3mA to 200mA, with a pulsed forward current of 400mA (max). The LED functions on a forward voltage of 2.6V to 3.5V, with a maximum reverse voltage of 5V.

Including InGaN-on-sapphire chip technology, the LED is created using a coloured-diffused silicone resin with a very flat square package. The close-to-centre chip layout provides optimal design flexibility, and its small outline dimensions, particularly the height, supply maximum flexibility to accommodate even the tightest spaces.

The compact 3mm × 3mm × 0.65mm SMT LED functions at -40C to +125C and is ESD tested at 2kV according to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001 (HBM, Class 2). The LED is AEC-Q102 qualified and allows designers to include design, comfort or safety functions using car-body illumination for various automotive-based lighting applications.
