Microchip Technology PIC16F171 8-Bit Microcontrollers, available now from Mouser, provide advanced analog peripherals, making them well-suited for raw sensor applications requiring signal gain or filtering. The MCUs integrate a low-noise Op-Amp, a 12-bit differential ADCC, two 8-bit DAC, a 16-bit PWM peripheral, and many more waveform control and communication peripherals.

These small form factor, feature-rich devices are ideal for low-cost, energy-efficient analog sensor applications with higher resolution requirements.

The microcontrollers are available in 8-pin to 20-pin packages with a memory range of 7KB to 28KB and speeds up to 32MHz.

Typical applications areas include sensor networks, IoT, white goods, and functional safety.
