Stacked-core moulded inductors ideal for high-power applications

Abracon AMSLA Stacked-Core Moulded Inductors, available now from Mouser, provide an ideal solution for high-power applications such as industrial, consumer electronics, and the IIoT.

These stacked inductors provide increased power density equipped to support higher-rated currents with lower DCR. The AMSLA modules comprise two inductor cores in parallel and use a small air gap between the stacked cores and conductor to provide better saturation performance.

The inductors are designed for switching frequencies between 100KHz to 2MHz. They offer -40C to +125C operating temperature range (including self-temperature rise) and are RoHS and RoHS 2 compliant.


Package sizes range from 7mm x 7mm to 13mm x 13mm to occupy less surface area on the board. Key use cases for the inductors include medical devices, electric vehicles, power adapters, servers, base stations, motor controllers, assembly line robotics, lighting, solar inverters, and desktops.
