E-Switch has released a new termination option to the anti-vandal PV6 series with the addition of 300mm long wire leads. The series can be ordered with solder lugs or wire leads. This new option removes in-house labour or second source assembly, which decreases lead time and cost.
The anti-vandal series is offered as a non-illuminated or illuminated dot or ring lens style and provides multiple illumination colours, including RGB and several bi-colour options. This robust switch gives a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles and electrical life of 50,000 cycles. The series provides three-body and actuator finishes – black anodised, nickel and stainless steel. Graphic options are also available.
The additional wire lead option for the series enhances the company’s extensive anti-vandal product line. The new terminal option joins PV series 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10 that have wire lead termination as a standard option.
Common applications for the high power switches include audio/visual, consumer and commercial appliances, industrial controls, medical/dental equipment, security devices, kiosks for vending and ticket dispensers and dashboards on off-road and boating vehicles.
