Amphenol RF has expanded its waterproof IP‐rated and tamper‐resistant cable assembly options with TNC and RP-TNC configurations. These cable assemblies are created using a 1.13mm micro coax cable and offer the ultraminiature AMC4 connector on one end. The recently launched ultraminiature assemblies are aimed at applications where systems could be compromised through exposure to the elements or external tampering and provide strong protection against either.

Both cable assembly configurations operate at 50-Ohms and employ the familiar threaded interface, ensuring mating stability and dependable electrical performance. The front‐mounted bulkhead jacks may be fastened on the inside of the panel or enclosure, which affords extra security for sensitive systems. The cable offers extra flexibility for installation requirements, as well as an ultraminiature mated connection for small spaces and crowded PCBs.

These waterproof sealed solutions are engineered to guard your application against outside elements and are fully tested to IP67 specifications in mated and unmated condition. RF lines are intended to satisfy interface performance specifications, with the addition of internal and external sealing features. IP67 products are ideal for many applications, including remote outdoor enclosures, portable radios, handheld devices and industrial equipment.
