Accurate navigation and positioning are critical for location-based services and timing-clock synchronisation in defence field equipment. Abracon’s multi-band passive and active internal GNSS antennas, available now from TTI Europe, are compact, precision-optimized solutions for telemetry, situational awareness, and wearable technology applications in smart soldier devices.

The embedded solutions include compact, high gain ceramic chip antennas and ultra-low profile flexible PCB antennas supporting the GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and Beidou constellations. High-performing circularly polarised ceramic patch GNSS antennas guarantee optimal accuracy. Stacked patch antennas perform in the GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo bands to provide the highest performance for precision defence applications. Active patch antennas have integrated LNAs, and front end saw filters for precision positioning and timing applications. Each antenna demonstrates superior performance and is intended to satisfy the reliability and demands of the most challenging applications and market necessities.

Typical applications include telemetry/situational awareness, wearable technology, IoT and M2M, tracking and geolocation, navigation, geofencing, remote technology monitoring, surveying and mapping systems, handheld devices, satellite synchronisation, satellite telephony and radio, precision transportation, and UAVs and robotics.
