Mouser now stocks the ADAQ4003 µModule DAQ from Analog Devices. Utilising SIP technology, the device lessens the development cycle of a precision measurement system by transferring the signal chain design challenge of component selection, optimisation, and layout from the designer to the device.

The device consolidates a low-noise, fully differential ADC driver; a stable reference buffer; and a high-speed 18-bit, 2MSPS SAR ADC. The device also includes the company's iPassives technology, providing crucial passive components with excellent matching and drift characteristics, to reduce temperature dependent error sources.

The device is provided in a 7mm x 7mm BGA package, saving up to 75% more board space than multi-component equivalent solutions, allowing smaller-form-factor instruments with no sacrifice of performance. The SPI-compatible, serial user interface is compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, 3V, or 5V logic, using a separate digital interface voltage (VIO) supply.

With the combination of multiple common signal-processing and conditioning blocks into a single device, the device decreases end system component count along with development cycle time for systems such as automatic test equipment, process controls, machine automation, medical instrumentation, and digital control loops.
