Mouser stocks the new BL653µ modules from Laird Connectivity. The tiny, highly integrated modules are excellent for harsh environments and space-constrained applications, providing long-range Bluetooth Low Energy with NFC. The devices' multi-wireless capabilities make them a ideal option for a range of IoT applications, including professional lighting, secure medical peripherals, and industrial IoT sensors.

The modules are powered by the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52833 multi-protocol SoC, with an Arm Cortex-M4F CPU plus 512Kbytes of flash and 128Kbytes of RAM for demanding product designs. The modules provide outstanding development flexibility with support for the Nordic SDK or Zephyr RTOS, AT command set, and Laird Connectivity's smartBASIC environment.

The smallest device is only 6.3mm x 5.6mm, providing reliable low-power performance and support for a wide range of configurable interfaces, including UART, I²C, GPIO, and USB. Offering Bluetooth 5.1 mesh capabilities and direction-finding with angle of arrival and angle of departure, the modules offer outstanding performance in challenging RF wireless and industrial IoT applications.
