KP Performance Antennas has launched a new line of 3.5GHz parabolic antennas excellent for wireless MIMO LAN, IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax, point-to-multipoint, 3.5GHz CBRS and mobile WiMAX wireless internet provider applications.

The new antenna line comprises two new models that outperform flat panel or similar size antennas in lower side-lobe levels and gain. The antennas lower interference in backhaul PTP link or on client-side in a PTMP link. The 1' antennas in this line provide 20dBi of gain, and the 2' antennas offer 23dBi of gain. The rugged design of these antennas incorporates a heavy-duty bracket and a polyester-based powder coating that withstands corrosion and mitigates ice and water build-up, making them ideal for industrial and corrosive applications. They also offer low side-lobes, high front-to-back and compact shipping size.

“Our new 3.5 GHz CBRS parabolic antennas allow operators to overcome interference and improve signal strength to reach the highest levels of modulation and capacity beyond what a flat panel antenna can offer. Their rugged construction with field-proven materials and surfaces ensures a long lifetime in even the most challenging environments,” said Justin Pollock, product line manager.
