Euroquartz now offers the Statek’s new range of miniature high-performance quartz crystal oscillators designed and manufactured for high-temperature applications. Providing ultra-low power consumption and high shock resistance characteristics, the new CXOLHT surface mount devices can withstand temperatures up to 200C.

Housed in 3.2mm x 1.5mm, hermetically sealed, non-magnetic ceramic packages, the oscillators are available in frequencies from 16kHz up to 50MHz with typical supply current requirements from <20µA at 30.768kHz frequency output. Supply voltage necessities are 2.5V to 3.3V ±10% with CMOS output load of 15pF. Further specifications include duty cycle of 45% minimum 55% maximum, ageing in the first year of ±5ppm at 25C and fast start-up time of 4ms to 8ms depending on frequency.

Two enable/disable options offer a tri-state output with oscillation disabled internally when output is put into high Z state.

The oscillators highlight frequency stability over temperature range characteristics of ±150 to ±125ppm (25C to 150C), ±175ppm to ±150ppm (25C to 175C) and ±200ppm to ±175ppm (25C to 200C) and are capable of withstanding process temperatures up to 260C for up to 20 seconds. Packaging options are tray pack or tape and reel per EIA 481.

Excellent for employment in high shock and vibration environments, applications include downhole instrumentation, geothermal, underground boring tools, measurement while drilling, industrial and avionics.
