Mouser has released a new eBook in collaboration with Texas Instruments, exploring best practices and strategies for creating the next generation of robot solutions. In ‘The Future of Robotics’, experts from the companies provide a collection of articles examining relevant topics such as autonomous robotics, sensor fusion, and communications standards for sensors in robotics.

The new eBook offers several analyses of the tools and technologies required for next-generation robot solutions, incorporating mmWave sensors, power supply devices, and processors and drivers.

As well as fascinating articles, eBook incorporates links to several TI products for the development of modern robotics, including processors, sensors, and evaluation tools. The IWR6843ISK-ODS mmWave sensor evaluation module enables direct data connectivity to the mmWave sensor’s carrier card platform, permitting access to point-cloud data through a USB interface. The evaluation module also supports raw ADC data through a 60-pin high-speed interface.

The LMG341xR150 GaN FET enhances power density and efficiency in power electronics systems. Offering ultra-low input and output capacitance, the device enables designers to employ dense and efficient topologies such as totem-pole PFC. The PGA460 and PGA460-Q1 ultrasonic processors/drivers offer a highly integrated solution for ultrasonic sensing, supporting object distance and position sensing, presence and proximity detection, occupancy and motion sensing, drone landing assist, and obstacle detection applications.
