TTI Europe has broadened its customer offer of specialist components with the addition of MEC modular switches to the company's portfolio. This range of modular products will provide customers with an extensive choice in reliable, robust and aesthetically designed high-performance tactile switches. These high-end PCB mount push button switches are ideal for custom solutions in an expansive variety of sectors, including high-end professional electronics, audio-visual, industrial automation, medical, defence, security and transport.

The company will distribute the wide selection of MEC products under the new agreement that includes the Unimec, Multimec and Ultramec product ranges in Europe. Their modular switches are created for ultimate sustainability; to tolerate at least ten million operations and sealed to satisfy the requirements of IP67 specifications. The Multimec 5 series provides the largest selection with a host of standard accessories - three actuation force options (2.0, 3.0 and 6.5), as well as NO (normally open) and NC/NO (normally closed/normally open) options. The complete accessory range also supplies designers with thousands of standard options in a range of surface shapes, colours, legends, illumination options, panel sealing levels and behind panel heights.

“The addition of the MEC modular switching products to our TTI offering will bring a wealth of choice to the design and purchasing teams within our customers,” said Oliver T. Hohmann, director product and supplier marketing Europe - E/Mech at TTI. “The core values of MEC perfectly align with our own in delivering the highest quality products to our customers, and as always, our TTI specialist engineers are well trained in the new range to advise on choosing the right product for any design.”
