Two-channel power system managers minimise supply disturbances

Analog Devices LTC2971 Two-Channel Power System Managers are employed to sequence, trim (servo), margin, manage faults, supervise, and provide telemetry and log faults. These power system managers utilise a proprietary soft-connect algorithm to minimise supply disturbances. The managers monitor 0V to 60V input voltage, input current within 1%, and accumulate energy. These devices manage outputs from -60V to 60V and margin or trim to within 0.25%.

The devices operate autonomously without additional software and can be powered from 3.3V, or 4.5V to 60V. The managers are available in a 49-pin 7mm x 7mm BGA package.

Typical applications comprise computers and network servers, industrial test and measurement, high-reliability systems, and video and medical imaging.
