Mouser has announced a global distribution agreement with SemiQ. This company grows its own SiC epitaxial and is building a reliable, redundant supply chain with two wafer fabrication facilities, multiple substrate suppliers, multiple epitaxial suppliers, and multiple packaging and testing facilities.

Mouser now stocks a mixture of the company’s SiC Schottky diode and MOSFET products, all of which function with zero switching loss to vastly increase efficiency and decrease heat dissipation, which enables engineers to employ smaller heatsinks. The SiC Schottky diode modules deliver enhanced performance with robust SiC chipsets and minimised parasitic package elements.

The rugged modules are excellent for applications including power supplies for rectifiers for induction heating, DC power equipment, and welding equipment.

The SiC MOSFET modules deliver low on-state resistance at high temperatures plus outstanding switching performance, simplifying thermal design in power electronic systems. The modules are excellent for applications in solar inverters, motor drives, power supplies, and charging stations. SiC Schottky discrete diodes are simple to parallel with fast, temperature-independent switching. The devices are created for solar inverters, motor drives, power supplies, and charging stations applications.
